Beginner’s Lino Printing Weekend Retreat: Saturday 31st July Enjoy exploring the creative process of lino printing in beautiful surroundings, with delicious food and great company. This beginner-friendly lino printing workshop is designed to introduce you to the rewarding art of relief printmaking in a relaxed, supportive setting. Whether you're completely new or looking to refresh your skills, you’ll learn the foundations of lino cutting and printing step by step. You’ll explore design development, mark-making, safe cutting techniques, and inking methods. You’ll learn how to plan and carve your own lino block, experiment with pattern and texture, and produce a series of hand-printed artworks. You’ll be guided through the process from idea to finished print, while still being encouraged to experiment and develop your own style. By the end of the retreat, you’ll leave with your own carved lino block and a collection of prints to be proud of. With a balance of structured teaching and creative exploration, you’ll build confidence and enjoy the mindful, hands-on nature of printmaking. Small class sizes ensure individual attention. All materials and tools are provided. No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. All refreshments and a delicious lunch each day are included in the price. Terms and Conditions Last Updated: September 2025 1. Bookings and Payments All classes, courses, and workshops must be booked in advance through our online booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless you choose to pay via an approved payment plan. Payment plans may be available for selected courses or programs. If offered, you will be given the option during the booking process to spread payments over a specified period. By selecting a payment plan, you agree to make all scheduled payments on time. Failure to complete payments as agreed may result in suspension of access to the course or cancellation of your booking without refund. Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed. You will receive a booking confirmation via email after successful payment or confirmation of your payment plan. 2. Cancellations and Refunds By the Student: Cancellations must be made in writing via email to emmalegrew@icloud.com Cancellations made more than 8 days before the start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any booking or admin fees. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are non-refundable. By the School: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any class or course due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date or program. 4. Attendance and Conduct Participants are expected to arrive on time and attend all sessions. Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the class or course without refund. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. 4. Materials and Equipment Some classes may include materials; others may require students to bring their own. This will be clearly stated in the course description.
